Empower Our Children, Empower Our Future.

The brightest students in our community, freed from financial restraints, elevated to their full potential.

Seven deserving students from Pontiac were given the chance of a lifetime in 2007, thanks to the POH Riley Foundation. We awarded $14,000 in scholarships to the bright, young students, enabling them to attend Michigan State University’s Osteo-CHAMPS summer program.

This innovative pre-college enrichment program builds partnerships with Michigan high schools and community foundations to help capable young students from disadvantaged backgrounds pursue careers in health and medicine.

The program empowers students to enhance their study skills, increase motivation, and develop leadership qualities while improving their knowledge of science.

Teresa Rodges, Executive Director of the POH Riley Foundation, embraces the Foundation’s aim to help local students thrive.

“We firmly believe in investing in our community and contributing to the growth and development of our youth,” says Rodges. “When these kids realize their full potential and they’re freed from financial restraint, a career in health and medicine becomes a tangible reality. It’s no longer just a dream.”

The POH Riley Foundation continues to champion exceptional students to strive for excellence. The generous support of our constituents makes this possible. Thank you for continuing to nourish the future of our youth.
